Nougat ice cream for Ninja Creami & Swirl

Fancy a change from the classic vanilla or chocolate ice cream? Nougat ice cream is a real delicacy with a southern accent, where honey, almonds and pistachios are reminiscent of Provençal sweets. With Ninja Creami, you can easily create a creamy, fragrant ice cream, with crunchy bits to bring out the richness of the nougat.

Place the frozen tray in the machine and start the program. Ice Cream.
  • Adjusts texture
If the ice cream is still too crumbly after the first cycle, add a teaspoon of cold milk and repeat the cycle. Re-Spin for extra creaminess.

Notes

  • You can personalize this ice cream by varying the type of nougat (e.g. chocolate or hazelnut) for a different taste.
  • For a lighter version, omit the egg yolk and replace the cream with Greek yoghurt.
  • If you want to accentuate the gourmet side, add a drizzle of caramel just before serving, or stir white chocolate chips into the ice cream.
  • For an even more Provençal touch, add a little orange blossom.
