Banana Sorbet for Ninja Creami & Swirl

Do you have any ripe bananas lying around your kitchen? Perfect! It's the perfect opportunity to prepare a delicious banana sorbet home with your Ninja Creami. Refreshing, naturally sweet and ultra-simple to make, this express dessert will give you a creamy texture worthy of an ice-cream maker, with no additives or dairy products. In just a few steps, you can transform simple fruit into a sweet, fruity, 100% % homemade sorbet.

Ingredients

  • 3 bananas ripe

  • 200 ml of’water

  • 90 g of sugar

  • The juice of half alemon

Directions

  • Prepare the syrup
    Pour the water and sugar into a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring, until the sugar has completely dissolved, then leave to cool for a few minutes before moving on to the next step.
  • Blend bananas
    Peel the ripe bananas, slice them and blend until smooth.
  • Mixing preparations
    Add the warm syrup and lemon juice to the banana purée, then blend again to combine all the ingredients. The result is a smooth, fluid mixture.
  • Freezing the base
    Pour the mixture into your Ninja Creami, and place in the freezer for a few minutes. 24 heures so that it's completely set before being put through the machine.
  • Turbine with Ninja Creami
    Installs the pot in the machine and selects mode Sorbet. If the texture still seems too compact, re-launch a Re-spin for a softer, airier texture.
  • Serve and enjoy
    Enjoy your banana sorbet immediately for an ultra-creamy texture, or return the jar to the freezer to enjoy later.

Notes

  • A little tip: add a spoonful of coconut milk before freezing for an even smoother sorbet, or a few pieces of frozen banana before re-spinning for an irresistible «banoffee» effect.
