Protein Vanilla Ice Cream Recipe for Ninja Creami & Ninja Swirl

360 ml whole milk
1 scoop of vanilla-flavored protein powder (whey type, approximately 30g)
1 to 2 tablespoons of sweetener of your choice (sugar, coconut sugar, stevia…)
1 tbsp instant vanilla pudding (regular or sugar-free)
½ tsp vanilla extract
1 pinch of salt
Directions
- Assemble the base
Pour directly into the pot of Ninja Creami or Ninja Swirl Whole milk, protein powder, sweetener, instant pudding mix, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Whisk vigorously with a whisk or milk frother until fully incorporated and smooth. - Freezing
Place the pot in the freezer for 24 heures, flat and without lid. Freezing without a lid prevents the formation of a bump on the top that could damage the blade. - Transformation into ice
Once the base is completely solidified, place the pot in the machine and select the program. Lite Ice Cream. One pass is usually enough to obtain a creamy and smooth texture. - Tasting
Serve immediately with additional toppings on top as desired.
Notes
- Instant pudding mix is the key ingredient for the texture: it acts as a thickening agent and gives it that characteristic dense and creamy consistency. You can substitute it with a pinch of guar gum or xanthan gum.
