Orange sorbet recipe for Ninja Creami & Swirl

Ultra-refreshing, naturally fruity and very easy to make, this orange sorbet is perfect for enjoying the full taste of citrus fruit. With just a few ingredients and the Ninja Creami, The result is a light, well-balanced sorbet that you can personalize to your own taste.

Ingredients

  • 250 ml of freshly squeezed orange juice (about 3 to 4 oranges)

  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice (optional, to enhance flavours)

  • 40 to 60 g of sugar, depending on the acidity of the oranges

  • 100 ml of’water

Directions

  • Prepare the sorbet base
    In a bowl or pitcher, combine the orange juice, lemon juice, water and sugar. Stir carefully until the sugar has completely dissolved and the mixture is smooth.
  • Freeze the preparation
    Pour the mixture into the Ninja Creami, and place it flat in the freezer for a few minutes. at least 24 hours, until completely frozen.
  • Turbine the sorbet
    Take the jar out of the freezer, place it in the machine and start the program. Sorbet.
  • Adjust texture
    If the sorbet appears too firm or slightly grainy, perform a Re-Spin for a smoother, more melt-in-the-mouth texture.
  • Make sorbet creamier (optional)
    Before Re-Spin, add 1 to 2 tablespoons of coconut milk or yoghurt, then re-run a cycle for an even creamier result.

Notes

  • Flavour the sorbet with a few fresh mint leaves or a touch of grated ginger for a refreshingly original touch.
