Oreo ice cream recipe for Ninja Creami & Swirl

Ultra-creamy, smooth and full of gourmet goodness, this Oreo ice cream is reminiscent of famous American ice creams. The cream cheese base adds a dense, melt-in-the-mouth texture, while the cookie pieces add crunch and texture.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon cream cheese

  • 70 g powdered sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 180 ml full-fat cream

  • 240 ml whole milk

  • 3 Oreo-type cookies, broken into pieces

Directions

  • Prepare the cream cheese base
    Place the cream cheese in a microwave-safe bowl and heat for about 10 seconds to soften. Then add the sugar and vanilla extract, and whisk until you obtain a smooth, thick, frosting-like texture.
  • Incorporate liquids
    Gradually whisk in the cream, then the whole milk. Continue mixing until the mixture is perfectly smooth and the sugar has completely dissolved.
  • Freezing the base
    Pour the mixture into the Ninja Creami, close it with the lid and place it in the freezer for a few minutes. 24 heures, Place in the freezer, lying flat, until completely frozen.
  • Ice turbining
    Once frozen, place the jar in the Ninja Creami and start the program. Ice Cream.
  • Add Oreo pieces
    Using a spoon, dig a hole through the center of the ice cream to the bottom of the jar. Add the Oreo cookie pieces, then start the Mix-In to incorporate them without totally crushing them.
  • Serve immediately
    Once the cycle is complete, serve immediately to enjoy a perfectly creamy texture.

Notes

  • Add a drizzle of melted chocolate or a few extra cookie crumbs on top just before serving for an even more indulgent effect.
