500 g of guavas fully ripe, peeled (fresh or canned guava pulp)
80 ml of’water (or reserved guava juice if canned)
Juice of ½ lime
2 to 3 tablespoons white sugar (to be adjusted according to the ripeness of the guavas)
Directions
- Prepare the guavas
If you're using fresh guavas, peel them, cut them in half, and remove the central seeds with a small spoon (they're numerous and hard, so it's best to remove them for a silky texture). Cut the flesh into pieces. If you're using canned guava pulp, drain it, reserving the juice. - Mix the base
Place the guavas in a blender. Add the water (or reserved juice), lime juice, and sugar. Blend thoroughly until you obtain a smooth puree. - Filter (optional but recommended)
Pass the purée through a fine sieve to remove any remaining small seeds and fibers. This step ensures a perfectly silky texture for the final sorbet. - Freeze the preparation
Pour the mixture into your jar Ninja Creami or Ninja Swirl, and place it in the freezer for a few minutes. 24 heures, flat. - Turbine the sorbet
