Fancy an ice cream that's sweet, creamy and intensely indulgent? This milk chocolate version is ideal for those seeking the perfect balance between indulgence and cocoa subtlety. Less full-bodied than dark chocolate, more structured than white chocolate, it offers a melt-in-the-mouth texture thanks to its custard-like base.
Specially prepared for the Ninja Creami Deluxe, This recipe is calibrated to perfectly fill a 710 ml jar, guaranteeing ultra-smooth results after swirling.

minutesIngredients
4 egg yolks
4 level teaspoons powdered sugar
280 ml full-fat cream
210 ml whole milk
170 g milk chocolate
Directions
- Bleaching the yolks
Place the egg yolks in a bowl, add the powdered sugar and whisk until the mixture is smooth, lighter and slightly thickened. - Heat the milk base
Pour the liquid cream and whole milk into a saucepan. Heat over medium heat, watching carefully: the mixture should become hot but not boil. - Melt the chocolate
Off the heat or over very low heat, stir in the milk chocolate, cut into small pieces. Mix until perfectly smooth and glossy. - Making the cream
Gradually pour the hot liquid over the yolks, whisking to prevent them from coagulating. Pour back into the saucepan and thicken over low heat, stirring constantly. The cream is ready when it coats the spatula lightly. - Chilling
Transfer the mixture into the Ninja Creami Deluxe jar, taking care not to exceed the line. MAX FILL. Leave to cool to room temperature, close the jar and place in the freezer for at least 24 hours, lying flat. - Turbine
Insert the frozen jar into the machine and select the program Ice Cream. If the texture still appears crumbly after the first cycle, run a Re-Spin to obtain a perfectly creamy ice cream.
Notes
- Texture too firm? Add one or two tablespoons of milk before a Re-Spin to soften the ice cream.
- An even more gourmet version: add chocolate chips or shavings after the first cycle, using the add-on function.
